IPL Photofacial

Say Hello to Beautiful, Youthful Skin

You don’t have to live with uneven skin tone and common imperfections like brown spots, sun damage, broken capillaries, and/or rosacea when an IPL photofacial is an option. So, what exactly is an IPL photofacial?

IPL is a pulsed light system that is exceptionally effective for treating various skin concerns and improving the texture and evenness of skin tone while reducing the appearance of pores. Virtually any part of the body with uneven skin tone, redness or sun and age spots can be safely treated with IPL.

IPL Photofacial Treatment

During an IPL treatment, one of our medical providers will use a special headpiece to emit light energy and target unwanted pigmentation. Every time you receive a photofacial treatment, your unwanted pigmentation will be pulled closer to the surface of the skin until it eventually flakes off.

You’ll feel varying sensations of coolness and warmth and the treatment can be adjusted for optimal comfort and effectiveness. While one to three treatments are sufficient to see dramatic results, additional treatments may be necessary for very large or dark spots, densely freckled areas or excessively sun-damaged skin.

Am I a Good Candidate for IPL Photofacial?

You may be a good candidate for IPL photofacial treatments:

  • If you would like to resolve red or blotchy skin.
  • If you wish to improve your skin’s tone and texture.
  • If you hope to minimize your pores.
  • If you would like to reduce the appearance of brown spots, broken capillaries, sun damage and/or rosacea.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

Most IPL photofacial treatments take anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour.
