Helping Children Achieve Beautiful, Healthy Skin

As a parent, it’s important to care for your child’s skin. At ZENA Medical, we are familiar with both childhood illnesses and conditions that can affect a child’s appearance and comfort.

Our dermatologists are highly trained to evaluate pediatric skin disorders and treat them effectively while maintaining genuine compassion and patience with children and their families.

Pediatric & Adolescent Dermatology Treatment

The most common skin conditions that children experience include eczema, molluscum, other infections, and other rashes. Other less common skin conditions in children are: chickenpox, ringworm, scabies, warts, and hives.

Birthmarks are also a common reason for a dermatology consultation in children. Birthmarks can range from small areas that fade away on their own to large, disfiguring marks that require treatment or even surgery.

Perhaps the most common skin concern among adolescents is acne. Our dermatologists have many highly effective and unique acne treatments to treat all types of acne. See the ACNE section of our website to learn about our philosophy regarding this serious and very common disorder.

You can count on our dermatologists to design a customized treatment plan for your child’s skin-related condition so they can find the relief they deserve.

We are parents ourselves and are very compassionate with our young families. Our bedside manner and soft approach make our doctor’s office not so scary. We are especially sensitive to children with special needs as well.

Is My Child a Good Candidate for Pediatric & Adolescent Dermatology?
