Virtual Dermatology Consultations with Dr. Zenovia Gabriel — $185, by secure video, wherever you are.
A virtual dermatology consultation at ZENA Medical is a $185 video appointment with board-certified dermatologist Dr. Zenovia Gabriel for acne and Accutane planning, rosacea, eczema follow-up, hair loss, skincare routines and second opinions — no drive to Newport Beach and no months-long wait.
You don’t need to be in Orange County to see Dr. Zenovia Gabriel, and you don’t need to wait months for a dermatology appointment.
Dr. Gabriel — known to most of her patients simply as Dr. Zena — has practised dermatology for over twenty years and has specialized in low-dose isotretinoin protocols for more than fifteen. A virtual consultation gives you her assessment of your skin, a plan built around it, and an honest answer about what will and won’t help.
Tell us where you’re located when you request an appointment and we’ll confirm the right consultation for you before anything is charged.

You don’t need to be anywhere near Newport Beach. Many of our virtual patients are hours away, in places where the wait for a dermatology appointment runs to months.
Let us know where you’re located when you request your appointment. We’ll confirm which type of consultation is available to you and what it covers before you’re charged anything — that takes a minute and it means nobody books something that isn’t right for them.
Well suited to a virtual visit
Needs an in-person visit
If something you raise turns out to need an in-person visit, we’ll tell you and help you find appropriate care near you.
Where a prescription is clinically appropriate, yes — sent electronically to a pharmacy near you. What we can prescribe depends on your situation and where you are, and we’ll confirm that with you when you book.
Accutane (isotretinoin) can be prescribed and managed remotely, and a significant number of our patients do exactly that. It requires enrolment in the iPLEDGE programme, regular check-ins and any laboratory monitoring your protocol calls for, which we arrange at a lab convenient to you. See our full Accutane treatment page →
1 · Request an appointment. Tell us what you’d like help with and where you’re located. We’ll confirm which consultation type applies to you before anything is charged.
2 · Complete your intake. A short medical history and photographs of the areas you want reviewed, submitted securely in advance so your appointment time is spent on the plan rather than the paperwork.
3 · Your appointment. A secure video visit with Dr. Gabriel. Bring questions.
4 · Your plan. A written summary of what we discussed, your treatment plan, any prescriptions sent to your pharmacy, and product recommendations where relevant.
Most people who book a virtual consultation with us are in one of three situations. They’ve been waiting months for a dermatology appointment where they live. They’ve tried several things for acne without success and want a dermatologist’s plan rather than another product. Or they want an experienced second opinion before starting a treatment as significant as Accutane.
If that’s you, this is what the appointment is for.
