How Much is Juvederm®?

Facial features lose volume with age, leaving you with lines, wrinkles, and hollowness. At ZENA Medical, we can restore your lost volume with the Juvederm® family of fillers. These FDA-approved fillers rejuvenate your features by giving back the volume your features had when younger.

What is Juvederm®?

In the hands of an experienced dermatologist, dermal fillers become artistic tools for contouring and revitalizing the face. Juvederm® fillers use hyaluronic acid, a large, complex molecule that attracts and binds moisture in the skin. Different arrangements of hyaluronic acid have different properties, making them useful for specific areas of the face.

How Much is Juvederm®?

The cost of dermal fillers varies widely by location and among providers. Injections provided by a dermatology professional may cost more, but the skill level will give you better results. Nationwide, a syringe of Juvederm® costs on average $620. Each person will need different amounts of Juvederm® for the areas being treated.

What Kinds of Juvederm® are Available?

Several fillers make up the Juvederm® family, with new ones added as new hyaluronic acid technologies become available. At ZENA Medical, we offer:

  • Juvederm® Vollure corrects nasolabial folds and other deep lines
  • Juvederm® Volbella works on fine lines around the mouth
  • Juvederm® Voluma restores fullness to the cheeks
  • Juvederm® Ultra Plus makes an excellent choice for plumping lips

We will often use a combination of dermal fillers to give you smooth, natural-looking results. Dermal fillers combine well with various other anti-aging treatments for complete facial rejuvenation.

Juvederm® vs. Restylane®

We offer the Juvederm® and Restylane® families of dermal fillers so our providers can choose precisely the right filler. Both fillers use hyaluronic acid, and each family has members that will achieve similar goals. Both will last between six and eighteen months, depending on the formula. Your dermatology professional will understand the subtle differences in each formula and may prefer a Juvederm® filler for one area of the face and a Restylane® filler for another.

Am I a Good Candidate for Juvederm®?

If you have lost facial volume, you may be a good candidate for Juvederm®. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in young skin, so reactions occur very rarely. We may recommend that you wait for treatment if you have a breakout or infection in the treatment area.

Is There Any Downtime with Juvederm®?

Juvederm® treatment takes about 15 minutes for one treatment area. You can return to your regular activities immediately afterward. While we use techniques to minimize bruising, you may notice a few small spots. These will fade within a few days, and you can cover them with makeup if they bother you.
