How Does Baby BOTOX® Work?

You may be surprised to learn that Baby BOTOX® is not a different strength of medicine; it’s a change to the dose and depth of each injection. BOTOX® is made from botulinum toxin type A. Repetitive facial expressions cause the skin to crease and relax. The more this happens, the more those creases stick around, creating dynamic wrinkles. BOTOX® stops those muscles from moving, so the skin has a chance to relax away the wrinkles and repair the damaged tissues.

The key to Baby BOTOX® injections is micro-doses. The idea is that smaller amounts of BOTOX® delivered superficially are enough to partially relax the muscle rather than entirely suspend its movement.
